Business Spotlight

"As the owners of the recently rebranded Atomic Blue Motor-Inn, we are so excited to have new life breathed into this 1940’s to 1970’s motel. We chose the name as a tribute to the Uranium rush in San Juan County, which Jason’s grandfather was a part of, and also of course the Blue Mountain, as the locals call the Abajo range that is accessible easily in Monticello and Blanding. Jason and I are so grateful to San Juan County Economic Development & Visitor Services for the help and commitment to San Juan County and the small businesses like ours. The board has helped us to get grants and information to help our business to succeed, especially during the pandemic when other counties were struggling to survive. We are proud of our community, our county, and our state in the support we receive daily. We love our area, our employees we call family, and our property, which is our home, and want them all to thrive in 2024 so we can provide a clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced place for our guests to enjoy this gorgeous landscape in San Juan County, Utah. Please come visit us and enjoy your stay at the crossroads to all the National Parks in beautiful Monticello, Utah!"
